Changes to .CH, .LI, and .AT Registrations

On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, Thursday, June 20, 2013, we will be automating .CH, .LI and .AT domain registration and management.

This means that manual processing of orders for these extensions will no longer be necessary and all registrations and changes will be handled in an automated fashion via the Control Panel, Reseller Web Interface (RWI) and the API.

Please pay specific attention to how renewals will work once these extensions are automated. Like many of the new ccTLDs introduced late in 2011, these domains will no longer be explicitly renewed. Instead they have to be set to "autorenew" or "let expire".

Any existing .CH, .LI, and .AT domains without either an "autorenew" or "let expire" status set will be set to "autorenew". If you wish to allow a specific .CH, .LI or .AT domain to expire, you must switch this flag based on these last action dates:

  • .CH - 2 days prior to expiry
  • .LI - 2 days prior to expiry
  • .AT - 30 days prior to expiry

The changes will be available for testing in the Test Environment starting on June 13, 2013.
