.DEGREE, .ENGINEER, .GIVES, .MARKET, .MORTGAGE, .REHAB, .SOFTWARE, and .VET are regulated gTLDs administered byRightside.
These regulated gTLDs are available for registration by anyone, with a few restrictions.

Renewals and Registration Term
All .DEGREE, .ENGINEER, .GIVES, .MARKET, .MORTGAGE, .REHAB, .SOFTWARE, and .VET domains have a minimum registration term of one year and a maximum term of 10 years, including renewals before the expiry date.
Rightside offers a grace period of 40 days and a further redemption period of 30 days. After 70 days, domains may revert to Rightside, or OpenSRS/Tucows; or are deleted and released back to the public. Please note that the cost to renew a domain in the grace period or to redeem a domain in the redemption period may be higher than the standard registration price.
Leap Year Registrations
If you register a .DEGREE, .ENGINEER, .GIVES, .MARKET, .MORTGAGE, .REHAB, .SOFTWARE, or .VET domain on February 29, the expiry date is set to February 28 of the following year(s) unless the registration duration falls on another leap year.
Special Terms and Conditions
As a highly regulated gTLD, the following conditions apply:
- Registrants engaging in the collection and use of sensitive health and financial data must implement reasonable and appropriate security measures commensurate with the offering of those services, as defined by applicable laws.
- Registrants must provide administrative contact information, which must be kept up-to-date, for notification of complaints or reports of registration abuse.
- Registrants must also provide the contact details of the relevant regulatory, or industry self-regulatory, bodies which license them to practice in their local place of business.
